The “New” Italian trend highlights lesser-known sauces, new ingredients and nontraditional preparations of Classic Italian favorites.  Consumers are highly interested in nontraditional preps like Alfredo with Sriracha and Mac and Cheese-topped Burgers.  Mentions of these items have gone up significantly in the last year.  Regional Italian cuisine experiences continue to be on the rise.
